Buffalo arrived at Hard Rock Stadium on November 9, 2025 as 9.5-point favorites with a 6-2 record, a seven-game winning streak over Miami, and an offense averaging 29.4 points per game. De’Von Achane carried 22 times for 174 yards and two touchdowns. The Dolphins won 30–13.
Tua Tagovailoa threw for 173 yards and two scores on 15-of-21 passing. Miami’s defense registered three sacks, forced three turnovers, and held the Bills without a first down until the third quarter — the first time Buffalo had been shut out in a half since the New York Giants did it in 2023. Josh Allen finished with 306 passing yards and two touchdowns but lost two fumbles and threw an interception. The Bills fell to 6–3. Miami improved to 3–7 and ended the longest active losing streak in the AFC East rivalry.

Game Summary
The Miami Dolphins defeated the Buffalo Bills 30–13 in NFL Week 10 on November 9, 2025, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Achane’s 174 rushing yards were a 2025 season high — up from a previous best of 128 — and his 225 scrimmage yards ranked as the second-highest single-game total of his career. Buffalo’s defense intercepted Tagovailoa twice, with Cole Bishop taking one on the opening drive and Maxwell Hairston adding another in the fourth quarter, giving the Bills their first multi-interception game of the season; Hairston’s pick was his second in back-to-back weeks after also intercepting Patrick Mahomes in Week 9. Tagovailoa’s two interceptions brought his season total to 12, the most in the NFL through Week 10. Miami safety Ifeatu Melifonwu picked off Allen in the end zone in the third quarter to erase a drive that had reached the Buffalo 5-yard line. Bradley Chubb led all pass rushers with nine total pressures on the afternoon.

Injuries and Inactives
Buffalo Bills: Rookie defensive end Landon Jackson exited in the first quarter with a knee injury and did not return. Tight end Dalton Kincaid left in the third quarter with a hamstring injury after catching two passes for 37 yards.
Miami Dolphins — Inactives: Cornerback Rasul Douglas (foot/ankle), safety Ashtyn Davis (quad), linebacker Chop Robinson (concussion).
Cook’s fumble at the Miami 5-yard line in the second quarter — stripped by cornerback Jack Jones and recovered by JuJu Brents — stopped a Bills drive in scoring position and handed Miami the ball deep in their own territory. The Dolphins drove the length of the field and settled for Patterson’s 46-yard field goal, pushing the lead to 16–0 at the half. Allen’s fumble at the Miami 38 with 7:18 left in the fourth quarter, recovered by Minkah Fitzpatrick, set up Achane’s 59-yard touchdown run on the next possession — the score that effectively ended the game. Those two turnovers alone accounted for 10 Miami points. Melifonwu’s end-zone interception in the third quarter erased what had been Buffalo’s most dangerous drive of the night, a 14-play march that reached the Miami 5 before Allen’s pass to Knox was picked at the goal line.
Buffalo finished the 2025 season at 12–5 and reached the divisional round of the playoffs. Miami closed at 7–10. But for one November afternoon in Miami Gardens, at 84 degrees and in front of 66,030, the seven-game streak was finished — buried under 174 yards of Achane, three sacks, and three turnovers from the team that wasn’t supposed to be good enough to do it.
Claire R. Conant is the founder and editor of The Press Row. Born and raised in New York, she spent years covering professional sports across multiple leagues before launching this publication in April 2026, largely out of frustration with a sports media industry that had decided moving fast mattered more than being right. Her reporting covers the NFL, NBA, MLB, cricket, and international football, and every figure published under her byline is verified against official data before the piece moves. She started The Press Row because she believed readers who actually understood the game deserved a publication built to the same standard. That standard has not changed since day one, and it applies to every writer on staff.
