NFL Week 8 | October 26, 2025 | Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO | Attendance: 75,877 | TV: CBS
Bo Nix completed 19 of 29 passes for 247 yards and four touchdown passes, J.K. Dobbins ran for 111 yards on 15 carries, and three Broncos rookies produced career firsts as Denver beat Dallas 44-24 at Empower Field at Mile High. The Broncos moved to 6-2 and won their fifth straight game; the Cowboys fell to 3-4-1 after Dak Prescott threw two interceptions and was replaced by Joe Milton III with the game long decided. Denver’s eighth consecutive win over Dallas extended a drought that now dates to 1995 โ the last time the Cowboys left a game against the Broncos with a victory.

Game Notes
RJ Harvey scored three touchdowns โ two rushing, one receiving โ becoming the first Broncos rookie to reach that mark in a single game since Clinton Portis in 2002.
Pat Bryant’s 24-yard touchdown reception in Q2 was his first career NFL score.
Jahdae Barron recorded his first career interception; both he and Dondrea Tillman picked off Prescott.
Denver’s home winning streak reached nine games โ the longest active streak in the NFL at the time.
Dallas has not beaten Denver since 1995 โ this was the Cowboys’ eighth consecutive loss to the Broncos.
Denver’s 44 points were their highest single-game total since a 45-point outing at Arizona on October 18, 2018.
Dobbins and Harvey combined for 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. Denver outgained Dallas on the ground 179 to 108.
Pat Surtain II suffered a right leg injury in Q1 and returned, then sustained a left pectoral strain with 22 seconds left before halftime and did not play in the second half. Post-game, the injury was confirmed as a pec strain; Surtain was listed week-to-week and was not placed on injured reserve.
Marvin Mims Jr. suffered a concussion on a kick return late in Q4. Nate Adkins (knee) also left in Q4 for Denver. Alijah Clark (ribs) departed for Dallas in the second half.
The Broncos went through 57 offensive plays at 7.5 yards per play. Dallas ran 68 plays and managed 5.0 yards per play.
Dallas managed 4-of-11 on third down and scored in just two of four red zone trips. Prescott posted a 51.5 passer rating before ceding the field to Joe Milton III โ who found Jalen Tolbert for a 35-yard score with the game a foregone conclusion. Denver did all of it without their best cornerback for the final 30 minutes. The Cowboys came into that Sunday having beaten Washington 44-22 the week prior. It didn’t matter. Against Denver, the result has been the same eight times running โ and the last time Dallas got a different answer, Troy Aikman was under center.

Claire R. Conant is the founder and editor of The Press Row. Born and raised in New York, she spent years covering professional sports across multiple leagues before launching this publication in April 2026, largely out of frustration with a sports media industry that had decided moving fast mattered more than being right. Her reporting covers the NFL, NBA, MLB, cricket, and international football, and every figure published under her byline is verified against official data before the piece moves. She started The Press Row because she believed readers who actually understood the game deserved a publication built to the same standard. That standard has not changed since day one, and it applies to every writer on staff.
